RenoViz ("we", "us", "our") provides an AI-powered interior design tool that lets you visualise how different materials would look in your rooms.

RenoViz is a digital design assistant that helps users preview materials (like tiles, countertops and flooring) in photos of their own rooms.

We may collect:

Account details – such as your name, email address and login details.
Content you upload – photos of your rooms, material images and any other files you choose to upload.
Usage data – such as device information, log data and how you use the app.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

Provide, maintain and improve RenoViz and its features.
Generate AI-powered design previews based on your uploads.
Communicate with you about your account, support requests and service updates.
Protect the security and integrity of our services.

4. Sharing your information

We may share your information:

With service providers who help us operate RenoViz (for example, hosting and AI processing providers), under appropriate confidentiality and data protection obligations.
When required by law, or to protect our rights, users or others.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Data retention

We retain your personal information for the following periods:

Account data (name, email, login details) — retained for the lifetime of your account plus 30 days after deletion to allow recovery.
Uploaded content (room photos, material images, AI-generated renders) — retained for the lifetime of your account and deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
Payment and transaction records — retained for 5 years after the transaction date, as required by applicable tax and financial regulations.
Usage and analytics data — retained in anonymised or aggregated form for up to 24 months for product improvement.
Support correspondence — retained for 2 years after the last interaction.

You can request deletion of your account and associated content at any time through the account settings or by contacting us. Deletion is subject to the retention periods above where a legal obligation applies.

6. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

Access, correct or delete your personal information.
Object to or restrict certain processing.
Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, but no online service is 100% secure.

8. International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we take steps to ensure an appropriate level of protection.

9. South African users — POPIA

If you are located in South Africa, the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 ("POPIA") applies to our processing of your personal information. Under POPIA:

Responsible party: The operator of RenoViz is the responsible party for the processing of your personal information as defined in POPIA.
Lawful basis: We process your personal information on the basis of your consent (e.g. when you create an account), contractual necessity (to provide the Service), and legitimate interest (to improve and secure the Service).
Your rights under POPIA: You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. You may also object to the processing of your personal information or request that we restrict processing in certain circumstances.
Cross-border transfers: Your personal information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside South Africa. Where we do so, we ensure that adequate safeguards are in place in accordance with section 72 of POPIA.
Complaints: If you believe your rights under POPIA have been infringed, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa at inforegulator.org.za.

We use strictly necessary cookies for login, security, and payment session continuity. We also use analytics cookies only when you give consent.
